HRTech firm Workruit raises $500K in pre-Series A round
Workruit, a career and recruitment platform that caters to B2B and B2C segments, has raised over $500,000 in its pre-Series A round led by the family office of Kantamaneni from the US.
According to Workruit, the proceeds will be used to ramp up its product, expand its operations and focus on customer acquisition. As part of the expansion plans, Workruit will also extend its recruitment platform in the US markets by Q1 2023 with the support of the strategic investor.
Founded by Manikanth Challa, Workruit provides a suite of B2B and B2C solutions, including resume builder, job search and recruitment platform.
The company claims to have created over 1 million resumes and has a user base of over 2.5 million job seekers who are registered on its platform to date. More than 2,500 employers, from Just Dial, Byju’s, HDFC, Fortune Group, Reliance Group, Amazon, and Asian Paints are functional on the Workruit platform.
The company has also partnered with over 500 colleges, focussing on workforce development. Workruit also operates the Digital Employment Exchange of Telangana (DEET) platform in collaboration with Telangana State and is currently in talks with other Governments.
According to data, 6 HRtech startups have raised funds amounting to $30 million in the third quarter, this year. The list includes Kula, Agwin, VOIZ, Coffeee.io, Incluzon and InterviewDesk among others.
