
The Health Factory, a Mumbai-based food brand, raised Rs 2 crore in a seed round of funding from Venture Garage, Happilo founder Vikas Nahar, and other angel investors.

Today, The Health Factory creates a delectable selection that includes whole wheat, multi-protein and multi-protein lite varieties, zero maida bread, India’s first protein bread, and many other options. The bread comes in six distinct flavours, contains 300% more protein than any other bread on the market, 20% fewer carbohydrates, high fibre, no cholesterol, and less sugar and fat. According to the startup, these breads are suitable for all ages and people, including children and the elderly, and are healthful and safe to eat.
The startup’s products are available at Swiggy, Instamart and Big Basket as well as modern and general stores in parts of Mumbai and Pune. They have a robust subscription D2C model that allows consumers to choose between products and home delivery and have seen extremely high retention rates.
