Nona Lifestyle, one of the leading global textile supplier brands, has received funding of $1.4 million from a venture capital firm LC Nueva and other HNIs (High-net worth Individuals). The brand, specializing in uniform and safety wear, raised this investment from the Pre-Series A funding round.
With technology being a major focus and an enabler for the brand, Nona Lifestyle is geared up to use the freshly infused capital to develop the company’s backend technology and managed marketplace platform. Utilizing the power of new-age tech solutions, the company intends to explore various opportunities, such as selling raw materials and trims to its smart Free on Board (FOB) suppliers and becoming the go-to brand in the uniform and safety wear market.
The organization is also keen to expand its footprint in other domestic and international markets. At the pan-India level, the brand is already present in Gurgaon and Bangalore but is now eyeing Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad. At the global level, Nona Lifestyle has a strong presence in Dubai and intends to tap into the European markets.
While expanding, Nona Lifestyle will focus on catering to customers’ demands that require customized apparel and furnishings such as uniforms, safety wear, workwear, bed and bath linens, and other merchandise. To achieve this objective, the brand will be leveraging the power of digital channels such as Google Adwords, LinkedIn, and other platforms to effectively market the company and generate leads. With this funding, Nona Lifestyle also plans to be innovative in its products across the safety, workwear, and white-label categories.
Ankit Rajput, Co-Founder, Nona Lifestyle, said, “The dynamics of the market are fast evolving in a new direction, and our customer is looking for transparent data and live tracking of bulk orders. At Nona Lifestyle, we are building technologies to create such solutions. This is further helping us to expand our presence and build a significant digital footprint to keep up with the competition. We are grateful to the investors for their support. With this investment, our major focus will be to incorporate technological advancements. This way, the delivery turnaround time and quality of products will improve, and we will be able to scale our business by serving a huge customer base globally.”
Hari Mishra, Co-Founder, Nona Lifestyle, said, “The textile supply chain is long overdue for technology disruptions as fragmented players currently dominate it. Nona Lifestyle is positioned as a key player in the market as we offer a diversified supply network across product ranges, including woven knits as well as high-on technical products on a single platform. We thank our investors for trusting our brand and our capabilities. The funding will, in fact, help us one step closer to our goal – global expansion, introducing innovations and tech advancements in our offerings to meet customers’ demands.”
Sohil Chand – CIO and Managing Partner, LC Nueva Investment Partners said, “Nona Lifestyle focuses on providing customized work and safety wear, white labeling, and soft furnishing services. In the unorganized and competitive landscape, the brand is making concerted efforts to be the one-stop solution for merchandise needs related to garments and safety wear in the B2B domain. With its managed marketplace, it is ensuring transparency and visibility in the supply chain. We have followed the brand’s trajectory, and it has grown rapidly ever since its inception. We were sure that it has the potential to disrupt the market. We are delighted that we could be a part of their journey and contribute to the brand’s growth.”
