
DNA-based self-discovery and career life cycle management platform GENLEAP has secured Rs 27 crores ($3.3 million) Pre Series A round co-led by Mike Holland, Sanjay Dutt, Neeraj Bansal, Karthikeyan Balasubramaniam, Deepak Kaul, and Manish Dhawan. New investors Vikaash Khdloya, Sunil Bajaj, Yoguen Oukabay and Mandeep Mehta also participated in the round.
GENLEAP had previously raised a seed round of Rs 60 Crores ($7.4 million) in 2021 led by Arun Nanda, Kevin Donlon etc.
The proceeds will be utilised towards marketing and increasing distribution footprint globally, making foray into US, middle east, and European markets, building labs in multiple geographies among others, it said in a press release.
GENLEAP is a DNA-based self-discovery, upskilling and employability platform which leverages artificial intelligence to make optimal career choices, and well being of health, skincare, and relationship.
The Gurugram-based company aims to make genetic testing affordable and intends to service 100 million over the next 5 years and create an extensive social network of people aligned by their genetics. At the moment, it claims that over 100 educational institutions have been using the platform.
Founder & CEO of GENLEAP, Sachin Sandhir, said in a statement, “GENLEAP will soon be expanding its geographical footprint and growth in the US, Middle east and other markets and given its global ambitions to become a leading force in the Genomics testing and solutions market, a $90 billion industry. GENLEAP AI, the US entity of GENLEAP, would now be listed in the Regulation A plus market and will launch a 50 million dollar IPO in the US market shortly.”
